This card is the result of a “if you get lemons, make lemonade!” situation. I originally made this
card, which I loved but ran out of Pretty Peacock paper. So I designed an all green version instead. I really liked it too. But wait, there’s more! When I started to gather my supplies I found a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock large enough to use as the back of my card. Thus the card I made for the video, is the card at the top of this post using Pretty Peacock and Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I’ll use that color combination and supplies in this post, but wanted to show you there are endless possibilities!
The secret surprise in the Thankful Card is the way it unfolds into 3 sections. The banner opens up to reveal the designer paper in the center section. Then the center section opens up to reveal the inside of the card. It’s almost like 2 cards in one. Change the color scheme and papers to make a beautiful Christmas or Birthday card. Change the orientation to make the card open at the bottom. So many ideas!
