Birthday Card Kit and More!
I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making the Perennial Birthday Card Kit. Of course I had to bling it up a bit, so the video shows the cards exactly like the kit instructions, using only kit supplies but changed up a bit, and using some of my own stash for a 3rd variation.
The Perennial Birthday Kit makes 16 beautiful birthday cards. It includes all the cards, embellishments, ribbon, twine, envelopes, and stickers. It even includes a gorgeous decorative box with 12 monthly organizers to write birthdays on and organize your cards. Confession – you may want to buy it just for the box – it’s that cute! The card bases include some of the prettiest paper I’ve ever seen with coordinating preprinted embellishments.
The Perennial Birthday Stamp set is a stand out on it’s own and is offered separately along with ink and adhesives. When I invest in a stamp set for a kit, I want to be sure I will use the stamps for other projects too. This set doesn’t disappoint! You’ll find the sentiments and charming (even retro?) flower images can be used for a variety of occasions and projects. I also used 3 ink colors
- Dapper Denim
- Old Olive
- Flirty Flamingo
and glue dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, and tape runner.
The cards go together quickly and the organizer makes it easy to have birthday cards ready and organized to send each month. I’ve used many Stampin’ Up Card Kits in the past, but this one may just be my very favorite. Here are pics of the 3 versions of each card if you like to experiment! But trust me, the original design in the instructions is beautiful and difficult to improve on!
