Graduation Cap and Tassle Card
Watch Video Here
Make this cute graduation cap and tassel in your grads school colors! Check out my video on how to make the cap and tassel on YouTube. Choose papers in your grads school colors and you’ll have the perfect graduation keepsake to frame with their announcement as a gift. It would be beautiful on a scrapbook page commemorating the event or enlarge the cap and tassel to be used as a page embellishment. Make small caps, attach to toothpicks, and poke in the top of cupcakes or other party goodies at your graduation party.
I used a white 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base with a red 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ red rectangle on top. The printed paper was cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ and I used the Deco Label Collection Framelit to cut the opening. The silver border was cut with the same framelit which is retiring and selling out quickly. If you need it, you should order now! I used the banner from the Number of Years Stamp Set. The video shows how to make the cap and tassel.
Supplies used are listed below except for papers – use your stash in your grads school colors. If you need something and don’t have a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator I’d love to serve you! Materials can be purchased in my online store at www.lyndafalconer.stampinup.net.
Be sure to share your card with us on comments if you make one. Can’t wait to see it!
