Make This Easy Card with Petal Promenade
Easy and stunning don’t usually go together, but this card is an exception. You’re going to love this easy card with Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper! Better yet, it’s on sale as a part of the Buy 3, Get 1 Free Stampin’ Up Special in July! Choose any 3 papers from the selection below and get a 4th paper pack free! The card starts with a 3 1/2″ x 5″ Whisper White Card Base. Petal Promenade DSP cut 3 1/2″ x 5″ is adhered to the card front. The only tricky part is cutting a 3/4″ slit in the back of the card right by the fold to slide the ribbon in. I used my Stampin’ Trimmer
to make the small slit just beside the fold, then slid 16 inches of the 5/8″ Tulle Polka Dot ribbon through the slot. The ribbon is tied in a bow on the front of the card then secured with a mini glue dot.
Final Touches
The envelope is embellished with a marble envelope flap cut from a 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ rectangle. I glued the paper onto the envelope flap then trimmed it to fit.
The inside of the card is adorned with 2 roses stamped from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set. It’s one of the “distinctive” stamps that looks almost like a photograph. The sentiment is a perfect match for the roses on the front of the card.
“If flowers were hugs, I’d send you a thousand.”
In fact, I’ve already sent this card to my sister!
The card goes together in just a few minutes. The Petal Promenade paper pack has so many beautiful possibilities. You can’t go wrong!
Happy Crafting!
