Stampin’ Up is releasing one of the highest trending Christmas Bundles in the new catalog a month EARLY- that’s today – August 1st!  I’ve been making Christmas cards with the Carols of Christmas bundle all week and am anxious to show you.  I’ll be doing that all week but wanted you to get first dibs on the stamp set and framelits today.

Deck the Halls

The set is so versatile! You’ll love the frame framelit shown in gold .  It’s the perfect accent for the bold sentiments that are striking in both plain ink and embossed.  It is paired with the Be Merry Designer Paper in this card with a ribbon accent .  Finally the ornaments are stamped and die cut to add just a touch of gold bling.

Nature Themed Christmas Cards

Nature themed Christmas cards are perfect for the holidays and this bundle does not disappoint!  The Peace On Earth sentiment fits perfectly inside the Stitched Shape Circle Framelit.  The stitching adds enough interest to make the sentiment look complete without an additional backing layer.  d which saves lots of timChristmas cards with Carols of Christmas card by Stampin Up shared by Lynda Falconer at www.crafterinspired.come during the busy holidays.  This is another 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ card using the 2 tree framelits and deer from the Card Front Builder Thinlit Dies.  I have had so much fun playing with those trees!  I’ve made them in hounds tooth check, glitter paper, gold paper, and patterned papers of all colors.  Here they made the trees with olive green cardstock, then stamped and die cut the deer.  The burlap ribbon and red twine add to the natural look and make a beautiful card.  It is simple enough to be made in mass to send to family and friends.  There’s nothing like a hand made card to show how much you care!

Add a Family Photo

This idea may be my favorite!  They’ve stamped the sentiment on vellum, then cut die cut the frame around it.  Then the vellum is attached over a black and white family photo and embellished with a red cross stitched bow and some linen thread.  Stamp a sprig of holly and cut it out using the thinlit die.  Then add a personal note on the back of the picture and you’re done.  What a great way to add a classy touch to the annual family Christmas pic!

Bling It Christmas Cards!

Finally, enjoy a “blue” Christmas with this shaker card that brings on the BLING!  Foam strips are the secret to the shaker – I’ll make one with a video next week to show you how easy they are now!  This card shows off the stars and moon die cuts along a different application of the trees.  The mini sequin trim adds some extra sparkle tucked behind the sentiment.  Beautiful!
